Just wanted to post again before the storm really gets going. We've started having some wind and finally a little bit of rain to go with it. At this point the forecasters are sounding pretty confident that Wilma will go south of us, more down by Marco Island (south of Naples), so we should be all right. The last I saw showed that we will probably get hurricane force winds, but we were on the northern edge of that circle. We've been cleaning out the fridge and freezer in the expectation that we'll lose power for a few days. The kids are sleeping in the living room (we moved our dining table towards the window and put them in a corner with no windows) and they are thrilled. It will take a long time for everyone to get to sleep tonight but at least we'll all be home together tomorrow! We'll let you know when we're on the other side.
